- DURABILITY – because Ultrex expands 833% less than vinyl, it won’t rot, warp, corrode, crack, dent, chalk or fade. 5x more resistant to UV degradation than vinyl – even with dark colors like Bronze
- LOW THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY – 500x less conductive than aluminum; less than 1/3 the conductivity of glass; similar to wood and vinyl
- STABILITY – expansion/contraction is minimal and virtually the same as glass for tightly sealed units with consistently easy operation – won’t bend, buckle, twist or warp in extreme conditions
